VIRTUAL MEDICAL EDUCATION Online (VMEO) has emerged as the second-highest rated online medical education program in the US in 2018, according to the latest 2018 rankings from the Institute for College Access & Success.
The institute, which promotes online medical learning, has rated the program as “very good” in 2018 for two reasons: the program is widely used by physicians and other healthcare professionals, and it is well-structured and provides clear guidelines and standards.”VMEOs have grown tremendously in popularity and are now in high demand across the US.
We are very excited to see the growth of the program, and hope it continues to expand,” said Susanne Schutz, senior vice president and CEO of the Institute.
“This is another example of how the American medical profession is using technology to offer new ways of providing healthcare.”
The institute found that medical education online grew by 11 percent in 2018 from 2016 to 2019, to account for over 10 percent of all medical education providers in the country.VMEo is one of three programs ranked highly in 2018 by the institute, along with a handful of others that include: the University of Pennsylvania, and the University at Buffalo.
Other programs with large populations of physicians and medical students include: University of California at San Diego, University of Minnesota, and University of Virginia.
Virtually all medical schools have some form of online medical degree program.
The medical school at the University Medical Center in Hamburg, Germany, ranked No. 2 in the 2018 rankings for both the number of students and the average GPA.
The Medical College of Georgia ranked No 3 in the rankings.
Other top programs include the University College London, and Washington University in St. Louis.
The institute ranked a few more programs than its own in 2018.
It found that the number and average GPA of VMEO students is higher than that of most medical schools, and its graduation rate is better than that at the top programs in many of the US’ top universities.
The Institute also found that VMEOs are the largest online education providers.
The number of graduates who graduate from medical schools is also higher than the US average.
In 2018, the average grade point average for VMEo students was 3.71, up from 3.60 in 2017.
In 2018, over half of VCE students graduated within six years, compared to only 35 percent of VMA students.VIRTUAL CAMPAIGNING CAMPAIGNS:
