Polygon has been in the news lately for launching a social news app called The Newsroom, and its been a big success.
In addition to news about Polygon, The Newsrooms content includes video and live stream of news events, live blog posts, and a feature called “Follow the Leader” that lets you follow the lead of Polygon content writers and editors.
In a blog post, Polygon CEO Michael Pachter outlined the new app and how Polygon will be able to share the news, insights, and analysis it brings to students and their professors.
In addition to the Newsroom and Polyglot, Polyglots features a “Follow The Leader” feature, which lets Polygon writers and readers follow the leader of Polygloton. “
The new Polygon app will also allow us to connect directly with our users and provide them with new and valuable information about the educational institutions they are attending, as part of the Polygon Education Portal.”
In addition to the Newsroom and Polyglot, Polyglots features a “Follow The Leader” feature, which lets Polygon writers and readers follow the leader of Polygloton.
“Follow them on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest,” Pacheter writes.
“If a Polygon writer or editor has something they would like Polygon readers to know, they can share it with Polygon staff and readers.”
As of now, Polygots is only available for Windows PCs, Macs, and Android devices.
Pachts blog post notes that it is planned for the next update, but the team isn’t saying when that will be.
